CLPNA Registration and Licensing for IENs

Join us for a concise workshop featuring guest speakers from the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). This session will provide Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) with essential information on the CLPNA’s role and the registration and licensing process in Alberta. Additionally, the speaker will explain the differences between the licensing processes in Alberta than Ontario and provide opportunities to ask questions.

Learning Outcomes

• Learn about the CLPNA’s responsibilities and support for LPNs.
• Understand the steps and requirements for registering as an LPN in Alberta.
• Get insights into the licensing process, including renewals and competence programs.
• Understand the key differences between the licensing processes in Alberta and Ontario.
•  Ask questions and receive guidance from CLPNA professionals.
