Employment Pathways in Canada - Health Careers is an online training and employment guidance program that supports the accreditation and employment of internationally educated healthcare professionals (Nurses, Pharmacists, Lab Technicians).

Employment support, such as counseling and how to navigate the credential recognition system.

Personalized Assistance

Get assistance with developing a learning and career action, training/license, and mobility plans based on individual needs.

Career exploration

Career exploration opportunities in collaboration with health partners.

Mentorship and Coaching

Individual and group-based mentorship and coaching.

Industry Workshop

Employment-related workshops focused on the health industry.

Financial Support

Financial wraparound support for skills training.

Work opportunities and support

Employment or Work opportunities for paid positions and up to 12 weeks of post-job opportunity support.

Employer engagement training

Employer engagement training sessions on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Internationally educated health professional (IEHP)
  • Canadian Language Benchmark Test (CLBT) - Level 7
  • Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee, Canadian Citizen
  • Previous experience in healthcare in the home country
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
