IEHPs head to The Boardwalk on Gaetz for an indoor entertainment fun zone filled with arcade games, a 7D dark ride experience, drinks, food, mini bowling and laser tag for special occasions.
Seasonally, IEHPs can take a high velocity ride across Red Deer with its famous Canyon Coaster, stretching over a thousand meters in length with vast glimpses of Red Deer and the outer wilds.
Red Deer's West Lake Grill and Heritage Ranch is a dining experience combined with outdoor countryside activities for those looking to learn more about the city's roots. Its experience offers a restaurant and opportunities to interact with horses through carriage rides across a guided tour and sleigh ride on winter seasons.
Nature/Trails
Nature (overview)
Red Deer's dense urban environment is split with a variety of waterways - the largest being its own Red Deer River which spans from the Discovery Canyon, to Kerry Wood Nature Centre and all the way to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame. The long stretch of river serves as a basis for outdoor activities connecting long-time residents across all seasons.
The aforementioned Kerry Wood Nature Centre is just one of many tourist stops along a nature hike taking IEHPs away from the city hustle and bustle - all without leaving it completely.

Hiking trails can vary from short strolls to longer treks, while IEHPs benefit from branching paths along their journeys.

IEHPs can easily access a variety of lakes around the city, including Hazlett Lake and its larger counterpart Sylvan Lake west of the city. The Sylvan area also includes its own park and a number of hike trails to bays around the lake.
